Library Rules
General Rules
- Keep Silence in the Library Premises
- Keep your moblie phone/tablet/laptop and other communication devices on silent mode
- Do not torn library reading material
- Do not tear or write or mark anything on library books
- Do not waste light, water and other natural resources in the library
- Do not disturb shelving order of library reading materials
- Use OPAC computers only for searching the library resources and not for personal use
- Do not eat or drink in the library
- Do not adjust library furniture as per your needs
- Magazines, Journals, Newspapers are not allowed to take out from their tables/shelves alloted for reading.
- If you are visitor then take permission of librarian before entering into the library stackroom.
- Do not share your ID/Library Card with anyone
Transaction Rules
- Students are allowed to lend a book for seven days
- Students are allowed to renew a book for two times
- Teachers can borrow their respective teaching subject collection as per their course requirement.
- Teachers are not allowed to borrow those textbooks which are available in specimen copies
- Teacher should return/renew all belonging after completion of semester/course
- External members can borrow TWO books excluding textbooks for fifteen days
- Administrative staff can borrow seven books at a time excluding textbooks/coursereserves
Fine
- One Rupee per day will be charged to all types of users on late returning of library resources
- Lossing rare/reference material could be charged as per library committee decision
Access to E-Resources
- UG/PG/Ph.D. students can apply for remote access to e-resources subscribed by the library
- Do not share your credentials to anyone otherwise your access to e-resources will be blocked immediately
- DELNET e-resources could be accessed only from Library / College premises
